H M RIAJUL Hoque, the Block Development Officer (BDO) for Uluberia-I Block, has made a significant contribution to local infrastructure by overseeing the construction of the first concrete road in Chhoto Amsha. This development comes a remarkable 77 years after India gained independence. The initiative was undertaken following the directions of Shri Pulak Roy, who serves as the Minister in Charge (MIC) of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) and Public Works Department (PWD). The new road runs along the border between the Tapna Gram Panchayat and the Bahira Gram Panchayat, addressing a long-standing need for better connectivity in the region.
Recently, the Minister visited the area and received feedback from local residents who expressed their concerns regarding the absence of a concrete road in Chhoto Amsha. In response to these complaints, the Minister instructed the BDO to conduct an inquiry into the situation. Subsequently, BDO RIAJUL Hoque, accompanied by Panchayat Samiti Sabhapati Atindra Sekhar Pramanick, Krishi Karmadhyaksya Murad Ali and Block Engineer Sukanta Hait, carried out a thorough inspection of the area to assess the condition of the road and the needs of the community.
Following the inspection, the local residents expressed their satisfaction with the efforts being made to improve the infrastructure in their area. They conveyed their appreciation for the Minister, Pulak Roy, and for BDO H M RIAJUL Hoque, recognizing their commitment to bettering the conditions in Chhoto Amsha. The positive feedback from the community underscores the importance of continued investment in infrastructure development to enhance the quality of life for the residents.
