In the village of Hatgachha-II Gram panchayat there was a man who owned a two-storey house with a paved surface that stood out among the other buildings in the area. He had worked hard to acquire his home, and he wanted to ensure that his name was recognized within the community.
To achieve this goal, he decided to showcase the mud houses of his neighbors. These houses, although simple and traditional, represented the way many people in the area lived. The owner believed that by highlighting these homes, he could attract attention to himself and possibly gain respect and recognition for his own property. He thought that by comparing his paved house with the mud houses, he could make a statement about the differences in living conditions and lifestyles in Uluberia. His plan focused on drawing interest to his own situation by framing it in relation to the lives of others, thus hoping to gain the acknowledgment he sought from the local residents.
